Join us for a presentation and discussion about Lauren's work with a focus on “Beyond the Bright Sea,” which won the 2018 Scott O’Dell Award for historical fiction. An enjoyable exploration of life as it used to be on the Elizabeth Islands. Bring your questions to the Music Hall. Young and old welcome. Reception and book signing follows.

This will be a first glimpse of The Inkline Project, a collaboration between artist Jackie Reeves and writer Lauren Wolk. The event will begin with a world premiere screening of the first “InkLines” collection—animations by Reeves paired with words by Wolk and original music by various composers—followed by a talk and Q&A. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required since it WILL sell out! Cash bar, complimentary popcorn.
