  The InkLine Project began when artist Jackie Reeves created an unscripted, one-minute animation and invited Lauren Wolk to respond with an extemporaneous poem and found music. The immediacy of this process and the authenticity of the work were so compelling that they continued to make dozens of InkLines, compiled them into anthologies, and presented them at two sold-out screenings and three film festivals in the first year of the project.
